Established
in 1779, Bowmore Distillery and is regarded as one of the oldest distilleries
in Scotland and is one of Scotland’s
finest Single Malts. The distillery is situated at the heart of the island of Islay, an island renowned for its
warming smoky whiskies.

Enigma is an unusual expression of Bowmore, as a greater amount of fresh sherry
casks have been used over its 12 years of maturation; this produces a much richer
and sweeter style of the classic Bowmore malt whisky.
