Registration is not necessary if you just wish to explore Whiskynet webshop or browse the text content or our products.

However, you have to register before ordering any product. During registration you have to provide your name, required delivery address, your e-mail and phone number. These  data are necessary to fulfil your order.

You may check, modify or delete your particulars at any time before approval. If an order is sent, its data cannot be modified after sending. Of course, you may modify your particulars before each new order.

When you have given your personal data the system will send you an e-mail to your indicated e-mail address with your personal ID and password. Initially, your ID will be your e-mail address while the password is a combination of letters and numbers. This password may be modified later under the  ’Customer Account’ menu on the left.

WhiskyNet Kft shall exclusively use the information you provide in compliance with the relevant provisions of the Data Protection Act, for sending written information only, to facilitate the ordering process or to contact you in case of any problem.

Placing an order

Products purchased on Whiskynet webshop are not allowed to be resold. We provide individual offers for commercial partners, therefore if you are interested in this line of business we kindly ask you to contact us directly by the above phone or e-mail (or see the contact details under the menu bar  'Contact').

The prices indicated for each product include VAT but do not include the cost of home delivery.  VAT rates may differ in case of certain types of products. Prices refer to one bottle or 1 piece of product if not indicated otherwise in the product description.

In the product description the volume, and, in case of alcohol products, the alcohol % is also indicated for each type of product.

By clicking on the menu bar in the the right corner on the top you may modify  or check the content of your basket at any time before sending your order. When you have confirmed the data and sent your cart by clicking, the system will guide you to the ’Cashier’. At any stage before step {4} of the ordering process, i. e. until confirming the order you may interrupt the ordering process; however, after confirmation, the order or its content cannot be altered any more.

The system will send you a confirmation e-mail about your order. Our colleague will only contact you by phone or e-mail if there is an unexpected problem.

You may check the status of your orders in process at any time under the ’Customer Account’ menu on the left in the ’Order Information’ chapter.

Payment Methods

You can choose your payment option when placing your order. Payment may be effected in cash (via COD (collect on delivery) or payment on the spot), by bank transfer or by credit card.

You may choose payment by collect on delivery (COD). In such cases you have to pay the  countervalue of the product to the courier delivering the consignment. Or, you may opt to collect the product personally at a previously agreed time in the Whiskynet store in Szentendre.

If you choose non-cash payment, we will only dispatch the products after having closed the payment transaction.

In case of bank transfer please transfer the countervalue of you order to the following bank account: Whiskynet Kft. 11742087-20081249. If you fail to transfer the countervalue of the ordered product within 1 week, our colleague will try to contact you to clarify the reason for non-payment. If contact is unsuccessful, we will cancel your order and send you an electronic message (e-mail) informing you about cancellation.

In case of electronic payment, i. e. payment by card, you may effect payment via the secure server of OTP Bank. After having your order approved, the payment panel of the bank will automatically appear after a short loading period. In order to effect payment  you will have to provide your card details. You will have to enter your credit card number and the date of its expiry as well as the Cvc2 code on the backside of your card. Having entered the required data click on the  „Payment” button and your payment will be effected. You will receive a confirmation about payment and then the system will redirect you to the webshop page which will also confirm payment. If the bank rejects payment due to any reason, Whisyknet will not cancel your order from the system; it will be handled similarly to payments via bank transfer.

Terms of Delivery

Attention! We serve customers strictly over 18 only, i. e. in case of any doubt the courier may ask the customer to prove his/her age before handing over the product. The courier  will not be entitled to hand over a consignment containing any alcohol product to a person under 18.

We are ready to deliver your products to your home in the entire territory of Hungary; however, we may accept orders for Hungarian territory only.

The price of home delivery is HUF 1.112,- Ft + VAT for any territory of the country. It is not necesssary to receive the ordered products personally but we are allowed to hand them over to persons over 18 only.

You may place your order on any date and at any time, our system will automatically  process and confim it. Orders received not later than 20:00 P.M. on Tuesday can be delivered until Friday of the same week; while orders received after that time will be fulfilled until Friday of the following week.

 

 

The Courier will try to contact you by phone 3 times as a maximum in order to deliver the goods at a time convenient to you. If the Courier fails to contact you, the goods will be returned to Whiskynet. Our colleague will keep trying to contact you for a further 1 week, if unsuccessful, your order will be cancelled.

 

Claims

In case of any claim on quantity and/or quality, our shipping agent shall return the claimed product provided such claim is made at the time of handing over the product.

In case of justified claims – you have not received what you ordered, or not that quantity, the package is damaged, etc. - our company will contact you to arrange a new delivery appointment. Naturally, in such a case the cost of new delivery will be charged to our company.

Disclaimer

You will have the right to withdraw from the contract within 8 working days after the receipt of the goods if you can return the goods in an intact package. Whiskynet shall be obliged to return the countervalue of the product within 30 days the latest. In such a case you will have to  bear the cost of returning the goods.
