1. Carribean atmosphere at an affordable price
There must be many of us, who haven’t been to the home of the cheerful dances and the finest rums, the islands of the Caribbean or the eastern coast of South-America. But we don’t have to renounce the complex, sensual taste of the matured rums, because only the WhiskyNET offers more than 40 kinds of special bottled drinks.
We can say from our own and not unique experience, if you show up in a company with a bottle of 8-10 (or even more) years old high quality rum, you can wave good bye to that bottle, because it’ll run out during the night. Even those ladies, who don’t prefer spirits or those drinkers who stick to brandy will ask for another round from the nectar-like beverage!!!:)
Every rum (besides the happy moments) will come with a gift tasting cup! You should try it as well! Please click on the photo!
2. Late summer Whisky cocktails
Even at the end of the summer, it’s good to have a cheerful, friendly conversation on the terrace. A whisky-based long drink can be a good choice for those occasions. Now we offer two of them:
Whiskey Twist:
4 sp Irish Whisky (The best choice for cocktails!)
1 sp freshly squeezed lemon, or citrus
1 table spoon of Cherry Brandy
1 table spoon of raspberry syrup
1 cocktail glass
We mix the ingredients in a shaker with ice, and then filter it to a cocktail glass. We add the cherry on the edge of the glass.
Old Fashioned Bourbon cocktail:
1 lump of sugar
3 drops of Angostura
4 cl Bourbon whiskey
½ slice of lemon
½ slice of orange
2 cocktail glasses
We sprinkle the sugar lump in a long-drink glass with some Angostura and mash it. We fill half of the glass with ice, and then pour the whisky on it. We add some water and mix it. We add fruit slices on to the glass, and serve it with a mixer..
3. The essence is in the 'E'- Bourbon and Irish Whisky offers
We are reducing the price of 5 types of the finest bourbons and 4 light Irish whiskeys until our next newsletter.
4. The new 40 year old Glenfarclas at an introductory price!
The surprise of this year comes from Glenfarclas, a new 40-year-old whisky, which the lucky ones already tasted at the Whisky Show. The whisky contains 46% alcohol, and comes in a daring purple gift box edition is a truly amazing whisky, which despite its age is surprisingly fresh and vibrating. However the 40 year old Glenfarclas is not a cheap beverage, the current owner of the distillery – John Grant – rather intended it to be consumed, and not for collectors. A glass of 40-year-old Glenfarclas, consumed at home, costs roughly 2.400 forint, which can be a quite competitive offer for major celebrations, or for anything else, according to the prices of the Hungarian restaurants and bars.
